Donations can as of June 2002 be made through
PayPal payment service using
any of the major credit cards. PayPal has been given many
awards
(among others from PC Magazine and the People's Choice award),
and has received very good reviews
(from among others USA today, Esquire and Wall Street Journal).
PayPal has grown to be somewhat of a standard for online payments
(make a Google search for
PayPal and you'll see) and is the most used service on the gigantic
online auction EBay. Althoguh there are some
that dissagree, PayPal is generally said to be are very safe.
Membership is free, but they charge 1.95$ for connecting a credit
card to the account.
If you're already a member of the PayPal service simply click
the button at the bottom of the page. If you're not you'll first
have to do the following:
- Click the donate button below
- Register a credit card number
- Register a billing address
US citizens are then ready to donate, but
international users must first confirm registration with 4-digit
PayPal Member Number found on your next mailed credit card statement
(or online). All this only takes a minute or two, and you can
use your PayPal account for much of your online shopping.
